Thursday August 7th by E.I.

 Today was my fourth day in the UK.

　　　This morning I had a class about making good friends. We did a self introduction and made some new friends. I became friends with Vuk and Alex. Vuk is from Serbia and he used to play judo, so he was interested in Japan. Alex is from Poland and he likes playing basketball. After the first two classes, I played card games with Yugo and Takayuki who are in my class.

　　　Before lunch, I came back to my room. I talked with my roommate, Ferdinand, who is from France. We were both nervous for the first couple days but now we became good friends.

We talked about our one story. It was a very interesting time and I really had fun.

　　　 In the afternoon class, we had a presentation about the senses such as: sight, hearing, smell, touch and taste. After the presentation was the most exciting time because a boy danced in front of all the audience. The dance was sharp and cool.

Finally, it is beginning to study abroad in the UK. Yesterday, we left Japan and arrived in the UK. On the plane, we watched movies and played games. I ate chicken and rice on the plane but the rice was not the rice we normally eat. When we arrived in the UK, I felt little nervous because I worried about life in the UK. It is not hot in the UK and it's actually quite cold. Ginkgo leaves have fallen outside. It's similar to autumn in Japan. And yesterday, I met my roommate for the first time. She is from China and very cheerful. We have only had formal conversations so far, but I hope to talk more in the future. Today, we had our first class. I introduced myself to my classmates and learned about the school rules. The teachers at school look scary but are actually very kind. There are people of many different countries  in my class. Tuesday August 5th by K.U.

  Today is the second day of our study abroad. In the morning, I had a class about the five senses. It was difficult for me, but the teacher in my class kindly taught me. In the afternoon, I participated in an activity called punting with my friends. Punting is about going down the river by boat. We had a lot of fun going down the river while watching swans and ducks. And I had dinner outside with my friends, it was very delicious! I want to do my best tomorrow too! By K.U.

Wednesday August 6th by A.Y.

  Today we went to an art museum a for little walk from school for a field trip in the morning. It was very interesting to see how the exhibits were connected to each other. After school, we took the bus to Alice's Shop. I was relieved to get on the bus without making a mistake. Also, I was very happy to see the beautiful garden and buy some British souvenirs. Although I sometimes feel anxious about my new environment, the British city is very beautiful and I could make new friends. So, I am having a lot of fun.
